Motorized tracks move the curtain along the rail, making daily opening and closing easier. Plan a side-draw or centre-opening arrangement to suit the room, with space for the fabric to stack back.
Discuss a sheer layer, a drapery layer, or both. Track length, fabric weight, heading style and any bends determine the suitable motor and track combination. Each layer may need its own track and control.
Selected systems offer rechargeable-battery operation; others need plug-in or wired power. Our team can compare suitable Somfy and AAA options for the specified product.

Can my existing blinds or curtains be motorized?
Some systems may be suitable for a motor or track upgrade; others need replacement components. We need to check the existing system, dimensions, fabric load and available power before recommending a route.
Do I need an app to operate motorized shades?
Not necessarily. A compatible remote or wall control can provide everyday operation. App, voice and schedules are additional choices on suitable systems, sometimes requiring a hub or gateway.
Can the shades help manage glare?
You can change the shade position as light reaches a screen or workspace. Glare control also depends on the fabric and the direction of the sun; the motor makes adjustment easier but does not change the fabric’s properties.
What should I bring for a quote?
Bring window photos, approximate dimensions, the covering you prefer and nearby power locations. Tell us whether you want individual control, room groups, automatic schedules or a specific smart-home connection.
