Light filtering
Soften daylight with a fabric suited to the room. Privacy changes with fabric, indoor lighting and the time of day; compare samples.
Solar screen
Discuss openness, glare and the view for offices or sun-facing rooms. Solar fabric generally does not give complete privacy at night.
Blackout fabric
Reduce light passing through the fabric. Edge gaps and mounting affect room darkening; ask about side channels where appropriate.
